Progressive Routes offers alternative routes into education and training, confidence building, and mental health support to young people not in employment, education, or training. It is a partnership between Bath & North East Somerset Council, Bath Rugby Foundation, and Little Lost Robot, funded by the West of England Combined Authority

We can help you, if you are:

  • 16-25 years old
  • Not in employment, education, or training (NEET)
  • Living in Bath & North East Somerset

  • Little Lost Robot: A range of creative skills workshops are available as well as 1:1 support and mentoring to help participants create portfolios and CVs. Workshops are available at Creative Twerton & Old Printworks Arts in Radstock.

Support Information

From arts & culture engagement through to CV / interview preparation, our young person-led support creates a new game-changing service for young people in Bath and North East Somerset.

The Arts sector is a space where young people who struggle in a school environment can thrive, supporting team building, growth in self-discipline and group working, reducing social isolation, building confidence, and creating new routes into further/higher education and employment for young people.

Progressive Routes offers young people opportunities to improve self-worth, make friends, and create safe spaces to talk and share complicated feelings.

  • Over 18, unemployed and looking for support to get into work: Alternative support is available from Employment & Skills Pod for FREE information, advice and guidance to help you consider your work and training options.
  • Over 18 and already in employment: Contact Future Bright for FREE career coaching, training, and support to help you improve your skills, boost your confidence, and increase your pay.
  • Under 18: Contact Youth Connect South West who offer support to young people to enjoy today, prepare for tomorrow, and become the people they want to be.
